Project Statement:
When the pandemic started, it drastically changed my life and routines. I went from commuting to school almost every day, working at an office with colleagues, and participating in on-campus activities to staying at home for the next several months. I felt lonesome like I was missing out on so many opportunities and experiences, and that I wouldn’t be able to go back to what I thought was my “normal” life. I would take pictures and randomly record videos in moments when I felt like things were okay and I felt genuine happiness. Therefore, as the optimist that I am, I decided to reflect and reevaluate a lot of my experiences before the pandemic in college, during the pandemic, and what my life looks like in the present. By reminding myself of the little things in life that bring me joy, I hope to continue seeking that sensation of happiness in what I do. Pursuit of Happyness is a compilation of memories and moments that share just that: happiness discovered during times of uncertainty.
