Fall 2019 360° Challenge

Voting & Pop-up Exhibition: December 2 - 6, 2019



The 360 Challenge is a semesterly virtual reality competition for “Power Users,” hosted by the New Media Artspace and open to the entire Baruch College community. This Challenge offers students the opportunity to collaborate and tell unique stories using New Media tech. Below is the recipe Fall 2019 participants had to follow.

The Recipe

Theme: Holidays!

Include the following in your entries:

  • - People or a person

  • - A light source

  • - Something soft

  • - Something cold

  • - Nostalgia

  • - Snow or "snow"

  • - A spirit


The entries were displayed online for the community to vote on a winner. Google Cardboards were also available in the New Media Artspace to view the entries in their full 360° glory.

The New Media Artspace is a teaching exhibition space in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Baruch College, CUNY. Housed in the Newman Library, the New Media Artspace showcases curated experimental media and interdisciplinary artworks by international artists, students, alumni, and faculty.
