Underexposed is a group exhibition by the first cohort to complete the New Media Arts minor at Baruch College. Jennifer Alvarez, Kevin Chan, Donnell Culver, Sachi Fukuzumi, Sam Kwok, DeAnna Levy, Colin McKeveny, Yamel Mendoza, Colin Mutch, and Yivan Zhong present works in a range of media formats spanning single channel video, animation, and photography. The exhibition also marks the opening of the New Media Artspace, a teaching exhibition space for New Media Arts in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, housed in the Newman Library at Baruch College, CUNY.
By introducing these emerging artists and this new program, Underexposed serves as platform for raising awareness and increasing the profile of the arts at Baruch College.
The New Media Artspace is a teaching exhibition space in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Baruch College,CUNY. Housed in the Newman Library, the New Media Artspace showcases curated experimental media and interdisciplinary artworks by international artists, students, alumni, and faculty.
