What Ourchive Means
Ourchive is a collective display of “our archives” that unfolds moments of change and connection and traces the subtle ways memories and experiences intersect.
Ourchive highlights a shared authorship of memory, where experiences are collectively shaped through interactions across interfaces and interphases. It explores how collective memory is not fixed, but rather is built, accessed, destroyed, and moved in tandem. The exhibition is organized through two overarching themes, “Interphases,” which explores the ephemerality of archives as sites of instability, and “Interfaces” which focuses on archives as loci for interaction.
