Artist Statement

My project will be a continuation of my previous stop motion project on a girl who jumped off the building. The story would explore the events, emotions, and experiences of the girl that led up to the moment. Building on the aesthetic established in my previous work, I will continue to utilize wool as my primary material. Through the medium of stop motion animation, I want to show the challenges she faced and the emotions she felt, as well as capturing the complex nature of humanity. This work is aimed to show how detrimental environments can significantly affect individuals' well-being and overall quality of life. Ultimately, I am hoping to raise awareness and foster understanding on mental health and its impact on people's lives.
