Indefinitely You

Artist Statement
With “Indefinitely You”, I show the complexity and irony of human emotion. While a person can be surrounded by friends and family, there is still a sense of hidden loneliness that can not only linger but take over one’s entire mind. A person can evenprefer to be alone, but feel extremely lonely in aspects of education, love, career, and societal expectations. Feeling like you are constantly the odd one out of a group, itbeing indefinitely you, manifests this overwhelming feeling. Being alone does not alway smake you lonely, and being lonely does not always come from being alone, and “Indefinitely You” strives to speak for those who identify with this struggle, and show those who don’t what it’s like, and that it exists.
