Yam is root, Yams roots, roots earth’s veins, pumping lifeblood. Ground food is Yams, Yemanja’s yams, thighs of the mother, mother of oceans, keeper of tides, healing from the rages of war. The polarity of this dimension, holding space, holding time for birth, for death. The path to the eternal. As above, so below. I am. Yam.
